Cancellation Policy

wp-scan.org offers three plan types: Monthly, Yearly, and Lifetime. Monthly and Yearly plans are subscription-based and auto-renew through PayPal. Lifetime plans are one-time purchases with no recurring billing — there is nothing to cancel.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation stops future billing; it does not affect access during the current paid period.

You have three ways to cancel. All are free, require no reason, and take effect immediately or within 1 business day.

Option 1 — Cancel from your dashboard (easiest):

1. Log in to your account at wp-scan.org/login
2. Go to Dashboard → My License
3. Click "Cancel Subscription"
4. Enter your password to confirm — done. You will receive a confirmation email.

Note: this option is shown when enabled by us. If you don't see it, use one of the options below.

Option 2 — Cancel directly via PayPal:

1. Log in to your PayPal account at paypal.com
2. Go to Settings → Payments → Manage Automatic Payments
3. Find wp-scan.org and click Cancel
4. Confirm the cancellation — billing stops immediately on PayPal's side

Option 3 — Cancel via email:
Email us at support@wp-scan.org from your registered email address. Include your account email or transaction ID. We will cancel your subscription within 1 business day and confirm by email.

When you cancel:

• Your subscription stops auto-renewing immediately
• Your license key remains active until the end of your current paid period (the date you already paid for)
• You will not be charged again
• After the current period ends, your license will expire and Premium features will be locked
• Your account and scan history remain accessible — you can re-subscribe at any time

To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle:

• Monthly plans: cancel at least 1 day before your monthly renewal date
• Yearly plans: cancel at least 7 days before your annual renewal date (we send a reminder email 7 days in advance)

Your renewal date is shown in your dashboard under My License. We also email a renewal reminder 7 days before your plan renews.

Cancellation stops future billing but does not automatically trigger a refund for the current or previous period.

If you cancelled promptly after an unwanted renewal charge, you may be eligible for a refund under our Refund Policy. Contact us at support@wp-scan.org within 7 days of the renewal charge.

Lifetime plans are one-time purchases — there is no recurring subscription and nothing to cancel. If you wish to request a refund for a Lifetime purchase, please see our Refund Policy (30-day money-back guarantee applies).
